We are an engineering-heavy team focused on planar finishing. Flatness, roughness, and surface integrity get specified, measured, and tracked across years of production.
Our story
Founded in 2018, RAALS grew from hands-on lapping work with regional precision shops into a national supplier of machines, plates, and consumables. That origin still shapes how we engage: applications engineers who work from prints, tolerances, and real failure modes, not from catalog pages alone.
Today we support OEMs and contract finishers where surface quality is written into the contract: seal leakage, bearing life, optical wavefront, or wafer yield. Manufacturing and field are organized so the process you qualify is still the one you run next quarter.

2018
Founded
RA Abrasive Lapping Solutions is established in Chennai, focused on contract lapping, process troubleshooting, and hands-on support for regional precision manufacturers.
2019–2021
Portfolio depth
We added plates, consumables, and diamond slurry delivery next to machine partnerships. Customers could buy the full stack through one applications thread instead of stitching vendors together.
2022–2024
National scale
Field service, spare programs, and documentation matured for OEM and national-program expectations, while keeping the engineering-first culture intact.
